Kos Airport

A flight will depart from Groningen Airport Eelde to Kos Airport every Thursday from 10 July to 21 August 2025. Kos-Hippocrates Airport, is an airport on the Greek island of Kos. It is located in the middle of the island near the village of Antimachia. The airport is not very large. The airport does not have taxiways. So people taxi to the end via the runway, turn there and then take off. This is usually done in a northerly direction.

The airport has a new terminal since 2021 with 28 check-in desks. The size of the new terminal is 24,000 m2, which means there are now much shorter queues at the airport.
