Ireland West Airport Knock
Ireland West Airport Knock is a small international airport about 15 km north-east of Knock and 6 km south-west of Charlestown in County Mayo, Ireland.
Knock Shrine is just 20 minutes away from Knock Ireland West Airport and has a very interesting history. The small village of Knock witnessed an apparition by 15 ordinary country people in 1879 and since then it has become one of the most visited places in Ireland and an international place of pilgrimage and prayer.

To visit the Republic of Ireland, you must hold a VALID passport or a European identity card. For visiting Northern Ireland, from 1 October 2021, you must have a valid passport. The European identity card will no longer be accepted. Foreign passport holders are strongly advised to check for themselves whether any other border documents besides a passport may be required, such as a visa.
