Groningen Airport Eelde has a private jet terminal for business flights. No queues, personal approach and the car in front of the door. Our Private Jet Terminal is specially designed to offer optimum privacy and comfort. This terminal can handle aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 18.5 tonnes. At Groningen Airport Eelde, we do our utmost to give your customers and your other visitors a carefree travel experience.

The small scale of our airport offers many advantages and time savings. Our air traffic control does not work with a time period in which a plane can land or take off. This allows your customers to land within opening hours mostly at the desired arrival time. Taxi time is very limited and once the aircraft is parked, your customer will be at your car, taxi or helicopter in no time. As the aircraft is parked as close as possible to our passengers, optimal privacy is offered.

• Monday to Friday 6.30am - 11pm
• Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 7.30am - 9pm 

Groningen Airport has a 2,500 metre runway and ample handling equipment, making it possible for almost every type of aircraft to land. Cars and helicopters are allowed on our platform, ensuring that your clientele have a comfortable onward journey.Where required, helicopter transfers from the airport direct to your shipyard are also available.

Our airport is centrally located in the north of the Netherlands, next to the A28 motorway, between Groningen and Assen. The A7 motorway towards Heerenveen (sportcentre Thialf ice speedskating, football) is easily and quickly accessible from the airport. Due to our location, roads around the airport are relatively quiet, so your clients will travel without hold-ups.
