Groningen - Norwich
From 4 March 2026, LYGG will operate direct flights between Groningen Airport Eelde and Norwich. This connection has been specifically developed for the business market and focuses on fast, efficient mobility between North Sea regions.
Individual travellers can also make use of this service.
The route is part of LYGG’s growing network, connecting offshore, industrial and maritime hubs across the region. It creates a direct link between the north of the Netherlands and the east of England, without transfers or time lost at major airports. This makes it ideal for offshore, energy, maritime and industrial activities in both regions.
Passengers depart from our General Aviation Terminal, operated by Air Charters Europe. Flights are operated with smaller aircraft, comfortably configured for short journeys. For up to date flight schedules, availability, service details and bookings, please visit the website of LYGG.
Practical information for passengers
Before departure: Please check your company’s instructions regarding travel documents and baggage. Soft bags are strongly recommended due to the limited baggage space on board.
Parking: You can use the parking facilities at Groningen Airport Eelde. We recommend reserving your parking space in advance via our parking page. P1 and P2 are within short walking distance of the terminal.
Arrival time: Please ensure you arrive at the General Aviation Terminal no later than 30 minutes before departure.
Terminal: Departure is not via the regular passenger terminal, but via the General Aviation Terminal, located next to the control tower.
Check in: There is no traditional check in desk. Your passport and, if applicable, ETA will be checked on site. Your baggage travels with you on the aircraft.
Boarding: Direct boarding from the terminal.
